- Daniel Inouye
Daniel Inouye is the eldest son of Japanese immigrants who worked on the Hawaiian sugar plantations where Daniel was born and raised. He lived in what he described as a Japanese-American ghetto. He went to the local Hawaiian school, at which the student body was 90% ethnic Japanese. As a young boy, Daniel accidentally fell and broke his left arm in a terrible compound fracture. The local doctor, an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist, set the arm. It mended, but not well.

I once took a Greyhound bus across the country by myself to find myself. Along the way I met cult members, crack whores and a British chick named Star. It was also the first time I saw the Mississippi River. ** I was raised on Cherrios and black coffee. In later years I found my love for Bourbon and women who have more books on their bookshelves than I do.

If you arrived here from the Live Oak Alumni website or if I haven't seen you in awhile, let me just say that it's all pretty predictable what happened to me. After stumbling through my early twenties, I finally grew up, got married, bought a house, finished college, and traveled to some fabulous places I never thought I'd see. After high school I steadily worked the 9-to-5 life and went to school at night.

I grew up in Bloomington, Illinois where I learned how to be a real person. I went to Arizona State University where I learned how to party with girls with fake boobs and kids who wish they were part of the Gotti family. I hang out in West Palm Beach, Florida when I like to pretend I'm rich. And now I live in Hollywood, California, where I say WTF all day long. So you could say I'm your average dude. I put my pants on two legs at a time.
