I was named after my Dad's twin brother who died of pneumonia at 3 1/2. Lex. I knew this much. But this week, I learned that Lex was born with cerebral palsy, never walked, or even sat up. Slept only on my Granny's arm for 3 1/2 years. Alternately, I was named after the blind ice-skater "Lexie" from that movie "Ice Castles" of the mid 80's. I would always like to feel that people think I'm a good person. I am sure there are a few who think I am not. I guess that's the big dilemma/challenge for me; just accepting that that's the way it is. Can't please all the people... I've always been drawn to people who are passionate yet can also see the ridiculousness of life. Most of what we worry about is such a waste of time. As soon as you learn to laugh at life, you've got it licked.
