  1. Artashes Geghamyan

    Artashes Geghamyan, b. December 2 1949, Yerevan, is an Armenian politician. He finished Chekhov Secondary School 1966 and graduated from the State Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1971. He joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1972. From 1989-1990 he was elected the Mayor of Yerevan. In 1990, he quit the Communist Party. From 1995-1999 he served as a deputy of the National Assembly.

  2. Andrei Babitsky

    Andrei Babitsky is a Russian journalist and war correspondent for Radio Free Europe. He is famous for his coverage of war in Chechenya, and for his consecutive ordeal with Russian authorities. Babitsky specialised himself in coverage of the Second Chechen War, to the point of growing good relations with Chechen fighters. He managed to interview guerrilla leader Shamil Basayev. Babitsky made a last contact with his colleagues on January 15 2000 and disappeared.

  3. John C. Loehlin

    John Clinton Loehlin (born 1926) is an American behavior geneticist and psychology and computer science professor emeritus. Loehlin has served as president of the Behavior Genetics Association and of the Society for Multivariate Experimental Psychology. He received an A.B. in English from Harvard in 1947, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1957.

  4. Guion Bluford

    Dr. Guion Stewart Bluford Jr . (November 22, 1942-) was the first African-American in space. A NASA astronaut, he flew aboard the Challenger Space Shuttle mission STS-8 as a mission specialist. The flight lasted from August 30, 1983, until September 5, 1983. Dr. Bluford is an aerospace engineer with a Ph.D from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He is also a colonel in the US Air Force.

  5. Jack Dyer Crouch II

    Dr. Jack Dyer Crouch II was confirmed by the Senate on May 21, 2004, and sworn into office as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Romania on May 28, 2004. He was formerly Associate Professor of Defense & Strategic Studies at Southwest Missouri State University. From August 6, 2001 through October 31, 2003, Dr. Crouch was Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy.
