  1. James Millikin

    James Millikin (1827 - 1909) is the founder of Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. He was born in Ten Mile, Pennsylvania. He began his business career in driving herds of livestock to the mid-west for sale, at the same time buying up land for re-sale. He became known as a livestock breeder and seller. Millikin moved to Decatur in 1856 and made his new home there, getting married the next year. Later, Millikin became a local banker and helped found Millikin University.

    Sierra Boggess is an American theater actress. She is set to originate the role of Ariel in the upcoming 2007 Broadway adaption of the 1989 film "The Little Mermaid". She was born in Rockford, Illinois, attended Millikin University, and currently lives in north Georgia with her husband Ray Benson (not the Ray Benson of band "Asleep At The Wheel"). Jodi has also performed in several Broadway Productions.

    Meredith Leigh Monroe (born December 30, 1969) is an American actress best-known for her role as Andie McPhee on "Dawson's Creek" from 1998 to 2000. She was a recurring special guest star in Season 2, series regular in Seasons 3-4, and a special guest star in the final series episode in Season 6, though these scenes were cut from the televised episode, but appear on the DVD extended cut release. Meredith was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois.

    Thomas W. (Tom) Ewing (born September 19, 1935 in Atlanta, Illinois) is a former Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, and the Illinois State House of Representatives, Ewing was a state representative from 1974 to 1991, and a U.S. congressman representing the 15th district of Illinois from July 2, 1991 until his retirement on January 3, 2001. In January 1995 he was named a Deputy Republican House Whip.

    Alice Ambrose Lazerowitz (November 25,1906 - January 25, 2001) was an American philosopher, logician, and author. Alice Ambrose was born in Lexington, Illinois and studied philosophy and mathematics at Millikin University. After completing her PhD at the University of Wisconsin in 1932, she went to Cambridge University to study with G. E. Moore and Wittgenstein, where she earned a second PhD in 1938.

    What can I say? I find myself to be hilarious, though the general public does not always agree with me. I like to sing show tunes on roof tops at all hours of the night. I miss my friends that are spread about the country, and I wish I could visit them more often.
