Dennis Hopson (born April 22 1965 in Toledo, Ohio) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6'5" small forward, Hopson was made the third selection in the 1987 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets but did not live up to the organization's expectations after playing three seasons with them. However, he did average over 15 points per game in his last season with the team. He also played briefly for the Chicago Bulls and the Sacramento Kings.
