  4. Lilly Nguyen

Some call me Hieu, some call me Lilly but either one I'm still ME :-) I'm from Minnesota...recently moved elsewhere to explore after college but Minnesota always has a special place in my heart!!! I'm silly, goofy, reserve, down-to-earth, cold, quiet, shy, fun, mean, lazy, hardworking - all depend on my mood and the people I'm around. Despite all that, my Emster Wendy still thinks I'm a cool-azz Drama Queen.

  5. Yishay Mor

Software development, mainly web applications. Community activism. Educational research. My goal is to combine knowledge from Software engineering, cognitive science and educational research in creation of innovative collaborative learning environments.

  15. Tal Blum

What can I say ... Maybe my friends will be able to help here.

  16. Jenny Kokai

Thursday morning I helped film a movie. Friday afternoon I was forced to go hear a porn star speak. I never know what the day will bring. I am allergic to alcohol, smoked cheese, and my contact lenses. I do performance art with CAT scans of my dead guinea pig's head. People tell me I have "great personal style" which I must have developed sometime in the past three years. I can't deal with passive aggressive people or liars.

  17. Matt Ua Cruadhlaoich

My Myers-Briggs type is INTJ, which says at least as much about me as the rest of this profile. My favorite foods are whole coffee beans and Vivarin and my favorite mixed drink is Red Bull and Jolt. In my spare time, I work to improve hydroponic and indoor mushroom growing techniques in the interest of increasing the agricultural output of arid regions of the developing world.

  18. Tomer Levi

A kind, good-hearted person, open-minded and friendly. I grew up in the Middle East, so my mentality is more Middle Eastern than American. That means I am very direct; I will say what I think; the way I communicate is not very official - I may address strangers the way I address friends (can you handle that?), well, there is much more than that, but I guess you will have to get to know me if you want to learn.

  19. Jessica Cruz

I am an incredibly happy newyled! What a great feeling to know that at least one thing will be consistent for the rest of your life! I love to dance dance dance, especially bandas, salsa, and bachata. But I'm not much of a partier! More than partying, I value sitting down with someone and having mentally stimulating conversation...learning about life and myself by learning about other people. I am passionate about science and social issues.

  20. Akshay Mangla

    In constant search...

  21. Eric

I'm a scientist who understands that science can only answer the how and what questions, not the why questions. I'm open-minded, non-judgemental, and pro-hyphenation. I tell bad puns, sing off key, and drive too fast. I'm by turns goofy, analytical, romantic, introspective, caring, generous, practical, and impractical. I enjoy running with the bulls in Pamplona and reading a good book at home. I'd rather be hurt than to hurt.

  22. Dianna Terrell

Still trying to make up for being such a shoddy student in the 90s...Oh, and the answer to your question about when I'm done with school? I think the projected date is 2010.

  23. Noelle

I am easy to get along w/ until you know me well. Then you have to be a certain type of person to be my friend. I can be pushy and rigid, but I can be caring and loyal. It just depends on my mood or how much I like you. But all in all I usually make people laugh or cry - again depending on how you strike me. I am extremely motivated, neat and enjoy trying new things as long as they are with in my comfort zone.

  24. Arie Stavchansky

I'm a UT Grad student studying the art and science of special effects. I like working with tools to make my visions become reality. Some people have said I have a calm, sarcastic, demeanor and that they think its funny. Who knows? This summer I'm just relaxing and doing what I gotta do. I'm a serious guy who knows how to have fun when the time is right.

  25. Mark Niciu

Friendster now bores me because there aren't enough music nerds or shamlessly promoting naked chicks with low self-esteem. Read more here: http://www.myspace.com/m_nish;.

  26. David

I am a happily kept husband. I am constantly surprised at what life has to offer. I am interested in learning as much as I can about almost any topic.

I'm studying modern European history at the University of Pennsylvania. The rest is too fascinating to type. Oh, and I'm spending July and August in Berlin.

  31. Michelle

easily amused. sometimes forgetful. often found laughing. always on the run. or in hiding. i trip over words. equations scare the begeezus outta me. music can cast a spell over me. heaven consists of cake, ice cream, and God. a keen sense of direction acts as my superpower and my weaknesses involve sweetness of the sugary kind. goat rodeos, kangaroos courts, and other idioms involving animals that refer to disorder or chaos make me laugh to the point of snorting.

  32. Krissy Tennyson

I just started my PhD at UF in Criminology...woo hoo! I live with my best friend from highschool and her 4 dogs (2 english bulldogs, 2 mastiffs). I'm loud, opinionated, ocassionally very witty (depending.

  33. Aaron

Life is short, and I do my best to enjoy it with no regrets. I'm a friendly guy and easy to get along with. For the most part, I keep myself overly busy as a graduate student in the morning, an engaged citizen in the afternoon, and stay social at night. I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things, though my friends are the bedrock of my sanity. Things can be crazy with me, but crazy is fun, don't you agree?

  34. Gregor Franz

    I am a German Dude.

  35. Alisa Gutman

I tend to have a ridiculous amount of energy. I try to use it up by running a lot and run half marathons. I've recently started climbing to help get rid of all of the extra energy that running doesn't use up. I am silly amounts of in love with my dog. She is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. She likes to run too. I love science, even though it's hard.

  36. Matt

Year two of my Ph.D. at the University of Delaware. And yes, I'm only doing it so people will call me "Doctor Helgeson" in five years. Mmmmmmm, chemical engineering, salty. Seriously, though, I'm hoping to be faculty at a university someday *fingers crossed*. So hey, maybe if you play your cards right, your kids will be learning how to be good li'l chemical engineers from me.

  37. Michael Bales
  38. Richard Wang

Taipei American School rocks! Tien-Mu rocks! No other place is better than Taipei. I love Taipei! =)

  39. John Goodrick

I am a highly complex system of carbon compounds organized into trillions of discrete, self-replicating units. Millions of people believe that I possess an immortal soul and that I was fashioned in the image of God. I often hang out in coffee shops.
