Dr. Demeure is a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon who has been in academic surgical practice since 1991. He had maintained an active clinical and basic research program during this time focusing on the mechanisms of tumor metastases. Dr. Demeure went to medical school at Hahnemann University, and completed his surgical residency at the University of Arizona. Janet L. Kennedy , M.D. obtained her Bachelor's Degree with honors from the Johns Hopkins University in 1974; the first undergraduate class in JHU history to graduate women. She proceeded to attend the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and was awarded her Medical Degree in 1978.
