Daryl Frank Dragon (born August 27, 1942, in Los Angeles) is a keyboardist, known as The Captain of the successful 1970s pop musical duo The Captain & Tennille, with his wife Toni Tennille. He was also a keyboard player with The Beach Boys in the early 1970s, and got his nickname of "The Captain" from the group's lead singer Mike Love. He perpetuated this nickname and image by wearing a nautical captain's hat.

Harold Henry "Pee Wee" Reese (July 23 1918 - August 14 1999) was an American professional baseball player who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers from 1940 to 1958. Reese was a ten-time All Star shortstop who contributed to seven league championships for Brooklyn. Reese was a strong supporter of the first black Major League Baseball player, Jackie Robinson. He refused to sign a petition that threatened a boycott if Robinson joined the team.

William Ostler (died December 16, 1614) was an actor in English Renaissance theatre, a member of the King's Men, the company of William Shakespeare. Ostler started out as a boy player in the Children of the Chapel troupe; he was cast in their 1601 production of Ben Jonson's "The Poetaster", with Nathan Field and John Underwood, two other future King's Men. Ostler, like Underwood, joined the King's Men most likely in 1608 or soon after.

A former Costa Rican soccer player, Róger Flores Solano was Costa Rica's national team captain during the 1990 World Cup held in Italy.
