Bart Smits is a Dutch heavy metal singer. He was the original singer in The Gathering, and he sang on their first album "Always...", released in 1992. The following year he left them to form Wish. After three full-length albums and four EPs, the band split up in 2003. Smits' latest work is Wish's "Single", released in 2003.

Jelmer Wiersma is a Dutch heavy metal guitarist. With René Rutten, he was one of the two original guitarists of The Gathering. After the release of their third full-length album, "Nighttime Birds", he decided to leave the band and stop playing guitar.

Martine van Loon is a Dutch singer. She joined The Gathering in 1992, and she sang on their second album "Almost a Dance", released in 1993. She later entered Orphanage in 1994, but after the release of "Oblivion" in 1995 she left the band. She also joined Lords of the Stone in 1994. With them, she recorded a demo album in 1996 and the first and only full-length in 1997. After this the band split up.
