William Stevenson was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and his family moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin, when he was young. Stevenson graduated from the La Crosse Normal School (now the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse) and taught in area high schools.

I direct a musical every year in McFarland Middle School in the Spring. I produce/direct Shakespeare in the Park in Stoughton during the summer. Every once in a while I find time to be on stage. I love being on Stage. I also have a vintage clothing/gift store in Stoughton called Montage.
