Harry Perry is a Venice Beach boardwalk musician famous for playing an electric guitar on rollerblades while wearing a turban. He has released three CDs: "Harry Perry Band's Video Commander", "Skate Town Ball" and "Harry Perry's Greatest Hits Of The Millennium". He typically uses distortion effects and plays in a style reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix or Eddie Van Halen. He is originally from Detroit, Michigan, and began playing on Venice Beach in 1974.

Captain Albert Berry is one of two people credited as the first person to make a successful parachute jump from a powered aeroplane. The other contender is Grant Morton, who is reported to have jumped from a Wright Model B flying over Venice Beach, California sometime late in 1911. On 1 March, 1912, Berry jumped from a Benoit pusher biplane from 1,500 feet (457 m) and landed successfully at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. The pilot was Tony Jannus.

John Dallas Lockhart (also known by the alias Dallas Locke) was a practicing lawyer from Akron, Ohio accused of raping a four month old infant girl when more than one hundred photos were discovered on his work computer. Fleeing from authorities after warrants for his arrest were issued on August 13, 2004, Lockhart was later arrested in Venice Beach, California on June 6, 2005 though police initially suspected he'd fled to New York City.

Charles I. D. Looff was a master builder of hand-carved carousels and amusement rides in America. Looff built the first carousel at Coney Island in 1876. During his lifetime, he manufactured some forty carousels, several roller coasters and Ferris wheels, and built California's famous Santa Monica Pier. He became famous for creating the unique Coney Island style of carousel carving.

Kleo is an unsigned Greek-Canadian singer-songwriter from Montreal. Her music is widely classified as lo-fi, one-take folk music, and her musical attitude has often been compared to Cat Power and Iron & Wine. Her lyrics focus on love, escape, and finding one's place in the world. Kleo has admitted to never formally learning guitar. "I just press my fingers on the strings." Many critics see this as the key to her minimalist style, like that of Meg White.
