I am Tom's twin. We may look the same, but we are definitely two different people. When we were younger, Tom would tease me all the time. He's really not a nice person at all. He created this whole MySpace thing because he never had any friends growing up. He was too mean. Now he has over 107562814 friends and counting. Now that you all know the truth about Tom, here's what I'm proposing. Take him off your friend list and put me up there instead.

I grew up in a town coined "Michigan's Little Bavaria"; a ridiculous place where tourists travel hundreds of miles to eat chicken dinners, buy homemade fudge, and shop at the world's largest Christmas store. It was more of a fantasy land than a hometown. Our mayor could be found at the local tavern wearing lederhosen and drinking steins of beer with high schoolers. I think that's where all of my problems originated.

I guess you could say I was a late bloomer. My dad was in the military when i was a kid, so we moved a lot. As a result, I typically was the guy who sat in the back of the class and tried to go unnoticed. Came into my own by the time I went to college. Glad to finally have moved back to Manhattan. Now working for a venture capital firm, making money but trying to find enough time to spend it.

What do you want to know? I'm just me. I work for a Private Investment Bank in New York City were I co-manage a Venture Capital fund. There is an idea of a Mr. Maynard; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusionary. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

I was originally born in Spain, but my parents got separated and I moved with my dad to the Big Apple.
