  1. Seung-Hui Cho

    Seung-Hui Cho (January 18 1984 – April 16 2007) was a mass murderer who killed 32 people and wounded 25 others in a shooting spree known as the Virginia Tech massacre. The massacre took place on April 16 2007 at the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Cho, a senior English major at Virginia Tech, committed suicide that day after law enforcement officers breached the doors of the academic building where he had wounded and killed most of his potential victims.

  2. Frank Beamer

    Frank Beamer (b. October 18, 1946 in Mount Airy, North Carolina) is the current head coach of the Virginia Tech college football program. Beamer grew up in Hillsville, Virginia where he earned 11 varsity letters in high school as a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. He then attended Virginia Tech and was a starting cornerback for three years on the football team, playing in the 1966 and 1968 Liberty Bowls.

  3. Sean Glennon

    Sean Glennon (born September 5, 1985) is the starting quarterback for the Virginia Tech Hokies football team. Glennon's appointment to the starting quarterback position came after an extended contest that took place following the dismissal of controversial quarterback Marcus Vick. Glennon had been considered the front-runner for the position following the 2005-2006 season, but faced strong challenges from Ike Whitaker and Cory Holt throughout spring and summer practices.

    Liviu Librescu (August 18, 1930 - April 16, 2007;) was a Romanian born and educated Israeli-American scientist and academic whose major research fields were aeroelasticity and aerodynamics. His last academic position was Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech.

He is the younger brother of former Virginia Tech quarterback and current Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, and second cousin of former Oakland Raiders quarterback Aaron Brooks.

  6. Kevin Jones

    Kevin Jones (born August 21, 1982 in Chester, Pennsylvania) is a football player for the Detroit Lions. Jones attended college at Virginia Tech. Also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Drafted 30th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft, Jones had a very successful rookie season with the Lions and became only the third running back in franchise history to rush for 1,000+ yards in his rookie season, joining the ranks of Billy Sims and Hall of Famer Barry Sanders.

    Steve Aponavicius is a walk-on kicker for Boston College's football program. A left-footed soccer convert, Aponavicius made his first start of his career against Virginia Tech on October 12, 2006 and successfully kicked two field goals. Aponavicius became the team's kicker after the the suspension of regular kicker Ryan Ohliger after a bar fight. Aponavicius never played competitive football before coming to Boston College.

    Michael Shayne Graham (born December 9, 1977 in Radford, Virginia) is an American football placekicker who currently plays for the Cincinnati Bengals.   38. Paul Pasqualoni

    Paul Pasqualoni (born August 16, 1949) was the head coach of the Syracuse University (SU) football team from 1991 to 2004. Pasqualoni was an assistant at SU until 1991, when he was promoted to head coach after the position was vacated by Dick MacPherson, who left Syracuse for the NFL to coach the New England Patriots.
