  1. John Musker

    John Musker (born November 8 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American animation director. Musker is one half of America's leading contemporary animation team with Ron Clements. He first met Clements during the production of "The Fox and the Hound" (1981), where he worked as a character animator under Clements. Musker later worked with Clements again on the ambitious animated flop "The Black Cauldron" (1985).

  2. Joe Alves

    Joe Alves (born 21 May 1936, San Leandro, California) is an American film production designer, perhaps best known for his work on the "Jaws" films. He directed "Jaws 3-D. Alves has designed three feature for Steven Spielberg, firstly for "The Sugarland Express". He supervised the construction of the three mechanical sharks for "Jaws" (1975) with special effects artist Bob Mattey.

  3. Fabrice Bellard

    Fabrice Bellard is a computer programmer who is best known as the founder of FFmpeg and project leader for QEMU. He also developed quite a number of other programs, ranging from 3-D graphics to a compact C compiler, the Tiny C Compiler (aka tcc). Bellard was born in 1972 in Grenoble, France. He went to school in Lycée Joffre (Montpellier), where he created a widely known program, the executable compressor LZEXE.

    Carl Pulfrich (September 24, 1858 - August 12, 1927) was a German physicist, noted for advancements in optics made as a researcher for the Carl Zeiss company, and for documenting the Pulfrich effect, a psycho-optical phenomenon that can be used to create a type of 3-D visual effect.

    Morton Heilig was a thought-leader in Virtual Reality (VR). He applied his cinematographer experience with the help of his partner developed the Sensorama in 1960. It was big, bulky, and shaped like a 1980-ish arcade game. The Sensorama was quite impressive for 1960 technology. The game gave the player the experience of riding a motorcycle on the streets of Brooklyn. The player felt the wind on their face, the vibration of the motorcycle seat, a 3-D view, and even smells of the city.

    Lisa Langlois (b. March 15, 1959, North Bay, Ontario) is a Canadian actress, who has appeared in movies, television and theater. Langlois spent her childhood years in Hamilton, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec, where she became fluent in French. In 1974 she represented Hamilton in the Miss Teen Canada beauty pageant, where she finished second. Langlois graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton.

    Erik Wernquist also known as 'Britt-Erik' was born in 1977. He grew up in the municipality of Lidingö outside Stockholm, Sweden where he worked with people associated with the Sagateatern theatre group, notably Michael Lindgren (appearing in the Swedish 1980s television series "Ebba och Didrik") and Henrik Dorsin.     Bill Etra (Born March 27, 1947) is the co-inventor (with Steve Rutt) of the Rutt/Etra Video Synthesizer and Live Video pioneer. Bill is a founding member of The Kitchen. He is currently working on "The New Machine", an advanced digital video synthesizer that gives the artist "total plasticity of image" in real time.     Uwe Mèffert has manufactured and sold mechanical puzzles in the style of Rubik's Cube since the original Cube craze. His first design was the Pyraminx and others include the Megaminx, Skewb and Skewb Diamond. More recently he has licensed and rereleased designs from other manufacturers, such as Dogic. In the 1970s Mèffert created some puzzles for his own amusement using pieces of balsa wood attached to a center ball by rubber bands.
