  14. Stephen

British red-haired, hard to understand, physicist turned rocket scientist, left-winged nutter. Have been subtitled on TV (checkout Bridge to Mars on TV, it's fun)! Like working in the field, and spend my summers camped in the Arctic working on spacesuits, planetary comms, and more. Born near London, educated at Penn State, and now living in Canada, but I take any opportunity to travel for work! I have way more CDs.

  15. David

Some people call me crazy, some may even call me a fool. I'm the mountain man come down to the south. Some call me the fro-man when I let my hair grow, but then I surprise everyone when I cut it all off. My personality is multifaceted, my interests are many, I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. Every day is a new challenge, I have many things to do, for I gotta pay my bills and keep myself in school.

  20. Shelby Highsmith

High stress, low key, middle of the road. Funny & brainy, quiet & boisterous, introverted & highly sociable, and a philanthropic misanthrope. I'm working on my PhD, if you can call this "working," because I seem to spend too much time hanging out around town. I have too many hobbies. I sort campaign finance disclosure reports in Excel for kicks.

  21. Tom Roy

When I need to, I'm entirely comfortable eating spagettio's out of the can. In much the same vein, I love sushi. I write a webcomic, Life of Fred (www.lifeoffred.com) about a guy who lives in Boston but sticks around after aliens invade because, well, a good apartment is wicked hard to find. Apparently, the rest of the galaxy agrees. My day job is designing and building specialized space thrusters.

  22. Alex Shieu

Physically, I'm 5'9 1/2, 240lbs. Chunky build Black hair, brown eyes, good tan. I'm of average intelligence, with a semi-good memory. I find that being able to communicate and empathize with another sentient being is one of life's greatest things. But I mostly find that I'm making fun of current trends and as such make an ass out of myself.

Late career engineer trying to survive the "end game" stages of parenting three children. Involved with Town affairs, enjoying my friends doing community things, and being involved in the theater thing. Trying to remain connected to my wife of coming up on thirty years. Wondering if there is a light at the end of the career tunnel - could it be retirement???

  28. Sean

Well i will keep this short and to the point. I have lived out here now for two and a half years. My job keeps me on travel quite a bit and that makes it hard to meet people and sometimes to maintain a relationship. I am all but against going to the bar/club scene and refuse to use the gym as a means of meeting people to date, I go there to work out, period. I am a smart, intelligent, loyal, confident and ambitious man.

  29. Alex Cheung

Me... just some regular guy trying to make a living... I work... many hours... I love solving the unknowns... and to a certain degree... like to argue... Still trying to map out my path... help help? I am grateful that I am surrounded by great friends...

What can I say...I'm like anyone else...unique. I have my own special tastes and qualities. I like Danny Kay movies...that should tell you something. Good listener, slow to judge, treats everyone with the same amount of mistrust until I get to know you :P I consider myself an insomniac even though I haven't been diagnosed.

The winters here, much nicer than the freezing cold winters from Chicago. Also, the summers are much less harsh. Although I live in Mariners town, I will forever be a cubbies fan.
