He graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School, an African American segregated school. It was soon after high school that he joined the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and became a civil rights worker for over 30 years.

  7. Giovanni dos Santos

    Giovanni dos Santos Ramírez is a Mexican football striker who plays for FC Barcelona and is part of the Mexican National U-20 Football Team and was a member of the Mexican National U-17 Football team that won the FIFA U-17 World Championship 2005 held in Peru. Dos Santos, also known as "Gio" or "Giova", was a key piece in winning that title.

On the show, he was placed on the East Coast team and fought Tarick Salmaci in the final First Round fight. This bout of Youth versus Experience was won by the young Mexican, although he later drew criticism for allowing himself to be withdrawn from the competition with apparently minor injuries.

    Jorge Orta Nunez (born November 26, 1950 in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico) is a retired professional baseball player. He batted with his left arm, but threw with his right. He made his debut with the Chicago White Sox on April 15, 1972. Through the 1970s, usually second baseman but also third baseman and also some outfield. Over his 16-year career in Major League Baseball, he also played for the Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays, and Kansas City Royals.
