  1. Jeffrey Beard

    Jeffrey R Beard is an American manager. He was appointed to become director-general of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) starting on 1 January 2006, following the retirement of the previous director-general, George Walker. Beard was born in the United States, and graduated in 1972 from the US Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in analytical management. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin.

    George L. Wainwright, Jr. (b. December 10, 1943) is an American judge, who recently retired as an Associate Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Born in Wilson County, North Carolina, Wainwright earned a degree in political science as a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before working in agribusiness and real estate in Wilson, North Carolina for over 15 years. He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 1984.

    Julie Moos (born 1966) is a Canadian photographer and art writer. Moos' work was included in the 2002 Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and curated by Lawrence Rinder. Moos's work has been shown at the Birmingham (Ala.) Museum of Art, the Honolulu Museum of Art, the Mint Museum of Art, Norton Museum of Art, the Renaissance Society of Chicago and elsewhere. Moos's approach to photography explores worlds of opposites.

    William "Bill" Sarpalius (born January 10, 1948) is a former Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives, having represented the Texas Panhandle district from 1989-1995.     Bradley J. Rickard Bradley Rickard completed his undergraduate and masters degrees in Agribusiness at the University of Guelph, in Canada. Brad has worked in fruit production, in the agricultural chemical sector, and interned in Australia. In 2003, he received his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis where he studied the economic effects of domestic support and trade barriers applied to markets in the tomato processing industry.

    Dr. Renee Hughner is an Assistant Professor in the area of Food Marketing in the Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness. She holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her research focuses on understanding the role and relationship of food in consumer wellness.

    Randolph H. Cabral (Age: 54) Senior Vice President Orchard Manager Mr. Cabral has served as senior vice president and orchard manager of the Managing Partner since May 2000. Mr. Cabral was previously employed at Ka’u Agribusiness Company, Inc., from 1989 until the Partnership’s acquisition of Ka’u Agribusiness’ macadamia business in 2000. He served as senior vice president from 1998 to 2000, as vice president from 1996 to 1998, and as orchard manager from 1989.

He received bachelor degrees in Mathematics (high honors) and Computer Science (honors) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1990, his master’s degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics in 1991, and his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1995.

  39. Roger Hutt

    Dr. Roger Hutt is an Associate Professor in the Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness. His teaching and research interests are strategic management, management education and development, small business management and entrepreneurship, and undergraduate business education. He is the author and co-author of text-workbooks in entrepreneurship and marketing, and articles and papers in the management discipline.

    Brian Delp started at AMVC in January 2004 as a Breeding Department Lead and is now a Breeding Department Manager.
