Robby Unser (born January 12, 1968 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is a former Indy Racing League driver and eight time winner of the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. he was the IRL rookie of the year in 1998. Robby made two starts in the Indianapolis 500 with a best finish of 5th in 1998. He also finished second twice in the 1998 season, his best IRL finish. His last IRL start came in 2000, his 21st IRL race. He is the son of Bobby Unser and cousin of Al Unser, Jr..

Originally known for his black Nissan "Sileighty" (Sileighty),he is one of the early Americans to be involved in the sport of drifting, starting in 1999. Benson won 1st place at Drift Showoff in 2003, 2nd place at RS-R Drift Festival in 2004, and was also a top 16 competitor in Formula D 2004.

He opened a tuning shop called Garage-S at 20 to focus on the technical side of race tuning and would later become more widely known after establishing himself in the Japan Drift and tuning scene.
