  1. Miss Frances

    Frances Rappaport Horwich (born Frances Rappaport, 16 July, 1907-22 July, 2001) was the host of the popular children's television program "Miss Frances' Ding Dong School". Miss Frances was born in Ottawa, Ohio. She earned her Master's degree in education from Columbia University and received her Doctorate at Northwestern University. She became the head of the department of education at Chicago's Roosevelt College.

  2. Immanuel Frances

    Immanuel Frances (born in Mantua July 221618 (?); died at Leghorn after 1703) was an Italian Jewish poet and rabbinical scholar. He received his instruction from his elder brother Jacob Frances and from Joseph Firmo of Ancona. In 1674 he was chosen by some Italian communities to represent them in a case against the heirs of R. Zachariah Porto. A responsum by him in this matter is found in "She'elot u-Teshubot Mayim Rabbim," iv., No. 41.

    Victoria Francés is a Spanish illustrator, born in Valencia. She is a graduate of the "Facultad de Bellas Artes de San Carlos" at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain.
