Mirko Grabovac / is a professional soccer player. He was born in Croatia, but changed his nationality to Singaporean in 2002 in order to play for the Singapore national football team. He was the top scorer in Singapore's S.League in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 while playing for the Singapore Armed Forces Football Club, and again in 2005 playing for Tampines Rovers. He was named the S.League's Player of the Year in 2000.

Grgo Kusic was a Croat soldier in the Austro-Hungarian army. Known as the Gulliver of Dalmatia, the 237 cm Grabovac native was a personal imperial guard to emperor François-Joseph in Vienna. Grgo stood a little over 7 foot 9 inches tall and was one of history's tallest person. Croatia's tallest person ever, and Austro-Hungary's tallest soldier. The currently tallest man in the world, Mongolian Xi Shun, is about 1 centimeter shorter than Grgo.

Silvia Grabovac (DLC21E/2004) has joined the American Bar Association’s Central Europe and Eurasian Law Initiative (CEELI) in Zagreb, Croatia, as a Staff Attorney. She will work with the rest of the CEELI Croatia team on the War Crimes Adjudication Project, which involves developing and piloting a professional education curriculum for judicial officials.
