- Giovanni Bisignani
Giovanni Bisignani is the Director General of the International Air Transport Association, appointed in 2002. Bisignani is the former chairman of Italy's flagship airline Alitalia. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School, and has worked as a senior executive at General Electric. Bisignani is the chief proponent of the campaign for airlines to adopt radio frequency identification devices for checked baggage, to reduced the incidence of lost airfreight baggage items.

He received an MBA from George Washington University and a B.A. from Holy Cross. Pedro Heilbron is also a Member of the Board of Governors of IATA and an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors of Banco Continental de Panama.

Antony Habersack Jannus, more familiarly known as Tony Jannus (1889-1916), was an early American pilot who piloted the first flight of the St Petersburg-Tampa Airboat Line on January 1, 1914. This was the first scheduled commercial airline flight in the United States, and the first such flight anywhere in the world to use a heavier-than-air aircraft. Born in Washington, D.C., he did his flight training at the College Park Airport in nearby Maryland in 1910.

Major Kenneth Beaumont CBE, DSO, MA (Oxon), AFRAeS (10 February 1884 - 24 June 1965) is the individual probably most responsible for the development of international aviation law. After becoming a joint partner in 1911 of the London based legal practice, Beaumont and Son, (originally formed as a family practice by his grandfather in 1836) Major Beaumont turned the practice's focus to aviation law following an Imperial Airways accident in 1924.

Pedro Cerisola y Weber is a Mexican architect who currently serves as Secretary of Communications. Cerisola studied architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and at the Universidad Iberoamericana. In the 1980s he worked in the Secretariat of Communications in the aeronautics area. In the private sector he worked for Teléfonos de Mexico serving in different position. Cerisola headed Vicente Fox's campaign for the presidency.
