Among his most recognized television roles were eccentric billionaire Jimmy James on NBC's "NewsRadio" and as the voice of Bill Dauterive and Buck Strickland on "King of the Hill". Recently, he had a recurring role on the final two seasons of "The West Wing" as Republican campaign consultant Bob Mayer, for which he received an Emmy nomination.
