    José Pedro Infante Cruz, better known as Pedro Infante, is perhaps the most famous actor and singer of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema and idol of the Mexican people, together with Jorge Negrete or Javier Solís.     Omar Infante [in-FAHN-tay] (born December 26, 1981 in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball second baseman who plays for the Detroit Tigers (2002-present). He bats and throws right-handed. In a three-year career, Infante is a .259 hitter with 18 home runs and 69 RBI in 229 games. In 2004, Infante lost his role as the starting shortstop when the Tigers acquired Carlos Guillén, who went on to be an All-Star that year.

    Blas Infante Pérez de Vargas (Casares, Spain; 5 July, 1885 - Seville, Spain; 11 August, 1936). Blas Infante was a politician, and a Spanish writer, he is known as the "Father" of Andalusian patrimony (Padre de la Patria Andaluza). Infante was a Georgist idealist who initiated an assembly at Ronda in 1918. This assembly adopted a charter based on Antequera Constitution and also adopted the current flag and coat of arms as "national symbols".

    Lindy Infante (born May 27, 1940) was head coach of the Green Bay Packers from 1988 to December 22, 1991 and of the Indianapolis Colts from 1996 to 1997. He compiled a career record of 36-60-0, with an 0-1 record in the playoffs, using a pass-oriented offense. Infante was the offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals in the early 1980's under Forrest Gregg. His Ken Anderson-led offense led the Bengals to the 1981 AFC title, and a bid in Super Bowl XVI.

  8. Manuel Infante

    Manuel Infante (July 29, 1883-April, 1958) was a Spanish composer long resident in France. A native of Osuna, Infante studied piano and composition with Enrique Morera, and settled in Paris in 1909. While there, he presented numerous concerts of Spanish music; a Spanish nationalist element is predominant in his own works. His most significant music was written for piano, and included a suite for two pianos. Infante died in Paris in 1958.
