- Jason Richardson
Jason Anthoney "J-Rich" Richardson (born January 20 1981, in Saginaw, Michigan) is an American professional basketball player, currently playing shooting guard for the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Bobcats. He recently played for the Golden State Warriors, from whom he was traded June 28, 2007 after six years with the team. The Warriors drafted him with the 5th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft out of Michigan State University.

James Samuel ("Sam") Vincent (born May 18, 1963 in Lansing, Michigan) is a retired American professional basketball player. On May 25, 2007 Vincent was introduced as the new head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats of the NBA. A 6'2" point guard, Vincent attended Michigan State University, where he earned "Sporting News" All-America honors in 1985. After graduating from college, he was selected by the Boston Celtics with the twentieth pick of the 1985 NBA Draft.

Glen Anthony Rice (born May 28 1967, in Flint, Michigan) is a retired American NBA basketball player. Rice was a three-time NBA All-Star small forward well known for his pinpoint shooting accuracy, ranking 4th in NBA history with 1,559 three-point field goals made during his 15-year career. Rice has been a player on both a team that won an NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship and a team that won an NBA Championship.

Terry Richard Mills (born December 21 1967 in Romulus, Michigan) is an American former professional basketball player at the power forward position. Mills attended the University of Michigan where he helped the Wolverines win the 1989 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. Mills was drafted in 1990 by the Denver Nuggets for whom he played 17 games. Mills also played for the New Jersey Nets, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, and Indiana Pacers.
- Dane Fife
Dane Fife is the current head coach of the IPFW Mastodons men's basketball team. At 26, he is the youngest NCAA head men's basketball coach. Previously, he played for the Indiana Hoosiers during their 2002 NCAA runner-up campaign. Dane finished his career with the Hoosiers having scored 736 total points. One of the more well-known plays of his college career was a foul on Duke's Jason Williams in the final seconds of a 2002 Sweet Sixteen game.

Traylor was a McDonald's All-American the same year as Kevin Garnett, Vince Carter and Paul Pierce. He attended the University of Michigan. Standing 6 feet 7 inches and packing 325 pounds, he joined a formidable front court for the Wolverines that included Maurice Taylor and Maceo Baston.

Mark L. Macon (born April 14 1969, in Saginaw, Michigan) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the 1st round (8th overall) of the 1991 NBA Draft. Macon played for the Nuggets and Detroit Pistons in 6 NBA seasons, averaging 6.7 ppg in his career. He played collegiately at Temple University alongside of future pros Aaron McKie and Eddie Jones.

Matthew Todd Steigenga (born February 27, 1970 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is a retired professional basketball player. He was a 6'7, 220-40 lbs. power forward. A second round pick of the Chicago Bulls in the 1992 NBA Draft, Steigenga was signed late in the 1996-97 season when the Bulls needed to fill an injury-depleted roster. He appeared in 2 games playing a total of 12 minutes and scoring 3 points.

He has played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers.
