    Raleigh C. Muns is an American writer, currently working as a reference librarian at UMSL in St. Louis, Missouri. He has created many of the major indexes and archives of government documents on the internet. For example, he was one of the first people to archive the CIA's World Factbook.

  2. Lawrence H. White

    Lawrence H. White is the F.A. Hayek Professor of Economic History with the University of Missouri–St. Louis Economics department. He has held this position since August 2000 and teaches classes on American Economic History, Monetary Theory, and Money and Banking. Before coming to UMSL He held positions as Assistant Professor at New York University and Associate Professor at The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

  3. Gordon Lee Baum

    Gordon Lee Baum is the current director of the Council of Conservative Citizens a white nationalist, neo-confederate, paleoconservative organization that succeeded the White Citizens Council. Baum attended UMSL even before it became UMSL, back in the days when it was Normandy Junior College, and was a student at the time when NJC was integrated into the University of Missouri system, and has a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law.

    So here it is, I'm back in school, work owes me over 200 labor hours so I get paid to sit on my ass at home. Isn't it great? I mean, how often can you sit in front of your computer, use myspace, and get paid to do it? Well not often enough, seeing as how som of the people I talk to, It takes me forever to get an e-mail back to them. But they understand that I'm a workaholic, and that my rockwood education prevents me from being able to write swift quick e-mails.

He served four years as a Marine Corps officer in the Far East during the Korean War, and then enrolled in the MBA program at Washington University in 1958.

    Dayna Stock Dayna Stock is manager of the Sue Shear Institute for Women in Public Life and director of the 21st Century Leadership Academy, Missouri's premier public policy leadership development program for college women. Over 250 "Shear Fellows" have participated in the Academy and have gone on to do amazing work in public policy fields. In addition to her work at the Institute, Dayna is a lecturer in political science at Washington University and UMSL.

    Beth Fitzgerald “I believe that we must continue the Rockwood School District’s commitment to excellence by responsibly managing district resources and increasing student achievement.” Beth Fitzgerald was elected to the Rockwood Board of Education in 1999. Ms. Fitzgerald is the president of the Magic House – St. Louis Children’s Museum. Ms. Fitzgerald graduated from Webster University with a master’s degree in early childhood education.

    Tracy Van de Riet, Campus Minister Tracy graduated from UM-St. Louis in May 2003 with a degree in History. After graduating, she became an AmeriCorps VISTA with Operation Food Search in University City, MO. Her hobbies include playing with Snickers the dog, reading, hanging out with friends, and hiking. She is thrilled to be at UMSL and working at the Newman Center. She looks forward to another great year at Newman and UM-St. Louis.

    Liz Detwiler , Campus Minister Liz comes to us from Saint Xavier University in Chicago with a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Studies. Though she enjoyed Chicago (minus the Cubs and WhiteSox), Missouri is her home and also where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Communications from Mizzou. She is the oldest of seven, (yes, seven) with two sisters and four brothers.

Maria has been an active member of the UMSL campus, serving in the UMSL Student Senate from 2002 to Spring 2005. During her time on the Senate, Maria served as Senate Chair from 2002 to 2003 and held positions on numerous committees.
