    Peter Trego (born June 12, 1981 in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset) is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his first-class debut for Somerset in 2002 but after the 2002 season he joined Kent for the 2003 season and then after a season playing for Worcestershire 2nd XI he joined Middlesex for the 2005 season. He returned to Somerset in 2006.

    Sir Alfred William Wiggin, known as Jerry Wiggin, (born 24 February 1937) is a British Conservative Party politician. Born in Worcestershire, Wiggin was educated at Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge and became a farmer in Clevelode, Worcestershire. Wiggin contested Montgomery in 1964 and 1966. He became Member of Parliament (MP) for Weston-super-Mare in the 1969 by-election after the death of David Webster.

  10. Gareth Taylor

    Gareth Taylor (born Weston-super-Mare, 25 February 1973) is an experienced football player with Tranmere Rovers. He is 6 ft 2" and weighs 13 stone 7 lbs and plays at centre-forward, however he has been used as a makeshift centre-back. Taylor started his career with Southampton F.C., but didn't make any first team appearances and was released. Bristol Rovers then signed him, and he made his league debut as a centre-back in a 6-1 defeat at Cambridge in February 1992.

    Wayne Brown (born 14 January 1977 in Southampton) is an English footballer who currently plays for Hereford United as a goalkeeper.
