  1. Jet Li

    Jet Li (born Li Lianjie on April 26th, 1963 in Beijing, China) is a Chinese martial artist, actor, Wushu champion, and international film star.

    Sun Tzu was the author of "The Art of War", an immensely influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy. He is also one of the earliest realists in international relations theory. The name "Sun Tzu" ("Master Sun") is an honorific title bestowed upon Sun Wu (孫武; Sūn Wǔ), the author's name. The character "wu", meaning "military", is the same as the character in "wu shu", or martial art.

  3. Wu Jing

    Wu Jing (sometimes credited as Jason Wu or Jacky Wu, b. April 3, 1974 in Beijing) is a Chinese and Hong Kong martial artist and actor. At age six he was sent to the Beijing Sports Institute at Shichahai. Both his father and grandfather were also martial artists. Like Jet Li before him, he competed as a member of the Beijing Wushu Team.

  4. Wu Bin

    Wu Bin (1927-) is a world-renowned wushu coach who has produced more Wushu champions than any other coach in China. Among his students are Jet Li, Li Jinheng, Zhang Guifeng, Zhang Hongmei, Hao Zhihua, Huang Qiuyan, Kenny Perez, Tang Laiwei and countless more. Wu began his career after graduating from the Beijing Physical Culture University Wushu Department in 1963 by becoming a coach of the famous Beijing Wushu Team.

  5. Daniel Wu

    Daniel Wu (born September 30, 1974 in San Francisco, California) is a American film actor famous for his work in Hong Kong. Raised in Orinda, California, he attended the Head-Royce School in Oakland, California and the University of Oregon. Since his youth he was an avid practitioner of the Chinese martial arts known as Wushu, he founded and served as the head coach for the University of Oregon Wushu Club in January 1994.

  6. Chang Cheh

    Chang Cheh (February 10, 1923 - June 22, 2002) was Shaw Brothers Studio's best known and most prolific film director, with such films as the "Five Venoms", the "Brave Archer" (based on the works of Jin Yong), the "One-Armed Swordsman", and other classics of wuxia and Kung Fu film.

  7. Bow Sim Mark

    Bow Sim Mark is a well known martial artist residing in Newton, Massachusetts, USA. Originally from Guangzhou, China, she founded the Chinese Wushu Research Institute upon emigrating to Boston in 1972, and currently teaches and performs in the area. She was one of the first to provide Chinese wushu instruction in the West. Master Mark is frequently called a "treasure" of either the local arts or the international wushu performing scenes.

  8. Serkan Yilmaz

    Serkan Yilmaz (May 21, 1975 -), known as "The Turkish Samurai" and "The Turkish Wonder Kicker", is a Turkish taekwondo fighter who has participated in Numerous Taekwondo, Wushu, and Kickboxing tournaments in Turkey and mainland Europe, K-1 Japan and A-1 Japan MMA tournaments.

    Johnny Tri Nguyen (born February 16 1974 in Binh Duong Province, South Vietnam) is a Vietnamese American film and television actor, stunt double, and martial artist. He left Vietnam at the age of 8 with his family, mother, father, older brother, and older sister and moved to Los Angeles, CA. He is half Vietnamese and half Chinese from his mom's side.. Johnny Nguyen comes from a family with deep roots in the Vietnamese entertainment industry.

  11. Angie Tsang

    Angie Tsang is a Hong Kong wushu athlete. She portrayed a young Wong Fei Hung in the 1993 Hong Kong martial arts film "Iron Monkey". As a member of Hong Kong's national wushu team, Tsang won a gold medal in the women's nangun (southern staff) event of the World Wushu Championships in 2005 in Hanoi, Vietnam. She was a bronze-medal winner in the same event in 2003 in Hong Kong. She joined the Hong Kong Police Force in 2003 and has retired from competitive wushu.

  13. Hei Zhi Hong

    Hei Zhi Hong (born 18 September 1975) is a Hong Kong wushu athlete. He won a silver medal during the 2006 Asian Games in the taijiquan competition.

  14. Ma Xianda

    Ma Xianda was born in 1932 to a Muslim Hui family in Hebei whose association with martial arts goes back six generations. His father Ma Fengtu and uncle Ma Yintu, taught Ma Xianba. In the course of his life, he has studied many traditional forms of Wushu including Tongbeiquan Piguaquan, Bajiquan, Bashanfen, and Cuojiao. He has also studied western boxing, wrestling and fencing.

    Ilram Choi is an American actor of Korean descent. He was born June 30, 1974 in Washington, D.C..   21. Phan Poh Ngean

    Phan Poh Ngean is the Grandmaster of the International Chi-Ke Chuan martial arts movement. Phan started this martial arts movement in the 1960s in Malaysia. Chi-Ke Chuan has grown throughout South East Asia and the world. Phan grew up in a family who valued traditional Chinese arts and culture. His own father was a "wushu" expert. Early on, Phan's father hired a kung fu master to tutor his family.

  22. Beatriz Lucero Lhuillier

    Beatriz Lucero Lhuillier, then known as Bea Lucero made Philippines Olympic history by achieving medals in two different sports, gymnastics and taekwondo. Bea Lucero graduated from International School Manila in 1991.     Chang Hai is an International Wushu Judge. He holds a 6 Duan and is a Duan Wei examiner. Chang Hai is the international Liaison officer for the Duan Wei system for the Chinese Wushu Association. Chang Hai has been in Northern Ireland now for nearly 8 years. He has a good grasp of English, at least for teaching, and many comment on the endearing Chinese accent he teaches in (with hints of Belfast).
