  1. Arie Slob

    Arie Slob (born November 16 1961 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Zuid-Holland) is a member of the Dutch parliament for the ChristianUnion. Slob started his political career as a member of the city council of Zwolle from 1993 to 2001. In 2001, Slob became a member of the Tweede Kamer for the Reformed Political Alliance when leader Gert Schutte retired. After the 2002 elections, the newly formed ChristianUnion lost a seat, and Slob did not return to parliament.

  2. Edith van Dijk

    Edith van Dijk (born April 6, 1973, in Haastrecht, Zuid Holland) is a Dutch swimmer and 6-fold world champion. She is Holland's most successful open water swimmer and long distance swimming, whose career started in 1990 taking part in the Dutch Ijsselmeermarathon. She starts out at Gouda's swimming club DONK, the swimming portion of the soccer team of the same name. At DONK fellow teammates gave her the nickname Piaf, due to her having the same first name as Edith Piaf.

    Mark Huizinga (born 10 September, 1973 in Vlaardingen, Zuid-Holland) is a Dutch judoka and Olympic champion. Huizinga won the gold medal in the men's under 90 kg class at the 2000 Summer Olympics by defeating Brazil's Carlos Honorato by ippon. He took bronze at the 1996 and 2004 Summer Olympics. Other laurels include four European Championships and a bronze medal at the 2005 World Judo Championships.

    Neelie Kroes (born July 19, 1941 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland) is a Dutch politician and businessperson. Neelie Kroes was a Member of Parliament in the Netherlands for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). Later she was the Dutch State Secretary and Minister of Transport and Water Management. Neelie Kroes was member of the board of commissioners of several multinationals. She currently is the Dutch European Commissioner for Competition.
