Steve Maloney is an English rock musician. He was born in London, and grew up in Essex. He currently resides in Leeds, England. He recorded two albums as bass guitarist with the metal band The Blood Divine, both released on Peaceville Records: "Awaken" (1996), and "Mystica" (1997). Later, he sang and played guitar in the rock band Johnny Zhivago, with whom he recorded "Some Of The People, All Of The Time" (2001) for Infernal Records.

It was the summer of 86 at age 10, when my friend Joseph Luciano introduced me to the world of skateboarding. It consisted of a bannana board and seeing how many tic tacks you could do in a row. From there on for the next 3 years I was hooked and my world revolved around it. It started with me buying a hot pink board called the prowler at an ACME supermarket.

I grew up in Maine, and spent many summers in Cape Cod. Once I graduated high school I joined the Marine Corps. Lucky for me there were no wars at that time!!! I graduated number one in my specialty training school from a class of about 40 which got me promoted and my choice of any duty station in the world, so I picked Okinawa Japan. What a blast that was. Japan was where I learned to play golf and I even joined a roller hockey league there.

I am happily married to the coolest guy I've ever known, and we have a beautiful baby daughter. We live in Southern New Jersey, near Philadelphia. My interests are many but my major interest is in music -- specifically metal. This has been my most motivating interest for as long as I can remember. I have an older brother who came home with the KISS Alive! album in 1977 and the rest is history.
