- William R. Caddy
Private First Class William Robert Caddy, (1925-1945) was a United States Marine who sacrificed his life to save the lives of his platoon leader and platoon sergeant during the Battle of Iwo Jima. For his heroic bravery, he was posthumously awarded his nation's highest military decoration - the Medal of Honor. He was the 72nd Marine of World War II to receive this great honor.

Eileen Caddy MBE (August 26 1917 - December 13 2006) is best known as one of the founders of the Findhorn Foundation community near the village of Findhorn on the Moray Firth in northeast Scotland. She was born Eileen Marion Jessop in Alexandria, Egypt, daughter of a director of Barclays Bank DCO. Educated at a domestic college, she ran an Oxfordshire pub with her brother for four years. She then married Squadron Leader Andrew Combe in 1939 and had five children with him.

She has won the 1990 Western Australian Week Literary Award for poetry, the 1991 National Book Council Banjo Award for Poetry, and the 1992 National Book Council award for poetry.

Caddy was born in Australia and in 1898 at the age of 17 he emigrated to South Africa. In March 1922, he was arrested during the Rand Revolt.

Peter Caddy (March 20, 1917-February 18, 1994) was a British caterer, hotelier, and founder of the Findhorn Foundation community. Educated at Harrow, he apprenticed as a director with J. Lyons and Company, and was a member of the Rosicrucian Order Crotona Fellowship. On the outbreak of the Second World War he was commissioned as an officer with the Catering Branch of the Royal Air Force, where he served from 1940 until 1955.

Bruce Edwards (November 16, 1954 - April 8, 2004) was a long-time caddie for Hall of Fame golfer Tom Watson. Edwards began caddying for Watson in 1973 and worked with him until 1989. Edwards left to assist Greg Norman but returned to Watson's side in 1992 and stayed until 2003. That year, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease) but continued to caddie for Watson until the strain became too much.

Angelo Argea (November 7, 1929 - October 10, 2005) was best known as the caddy for Jack Nicklaus. Argea was born in Greece. He and Nicklaus first met at the Palm Springs Classic in 1963, when Argea signed up to caddy for him. Argea continued to caddy for Nicklaus for over 20 years. During this time, he was on the bag for 44 of Nicklaus' 70 PGA Tour wins (that tally would later be revised to 73 when British Open wins were added to PGA Tour win records).
