- Amos Elon
Amos Elon is an acclaimed historian and social critic and is the author of eight widely praised books on Germany, Jewish history, and the Middle East, including Founder: A Portrait of the First Rothschild and the New York Times bestseller, Israelis: Founders and Sons . He is a former foreign correspondent (in Washington, Paris, Bonn, and Cairo) and political columnist for Haaretz. He studied law and history in Israel and England.
- Mordechai Elon
Rabbi Mordechai Elon (b. December 9, 1959) is a Religious Zionist Israeli rabbi and rosh yeshiva of Yeshivat Hakotel in Jerusalem. He is also the head of the "Mibereshit" organization. Rabbi Elon is well known for his outreach to secular Israelis, and is the host of his own weekly television show. He is the brother of Israeli politician, Benny Elon and the son of former Israel Supreme Court Justice Menachem Elon.
- Binyamin Elon
Rabbi Binyamin "Benny" Elon (born 10 November 1954) is an Israeli politician, a Member of the Knesset and chairman of the right-wing National Union, within which he is a member of the Moledet faction. A ninth-generation Jerusalemite, Elon has lived in Beit El, a Jewish settlement in the West Bank for the last twenty years. His father was the former Deputy Chief Justice of Israel and his brother, Rabbi Mordechai Elon, is a prominent figure in the Religious Zionist Movement.
- Menachem Elon
Menachem Elon (born 1923), an Israeli jurist, who served as a justice on the Israeli Supreme Court (1977-1993) and its Deputy President (1988-1993). Elon's family immigrated to the land of Israel in 1935 from Germany due to the rise of Nazism. He studied Halakha (traditional Jewish law) in the Hebron Yeshiva. He received his law degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he was appointed to teach and as a professor.

Faith Rockefeller Model (May 30, 1909-July 2, 1960) is a daughter of Percy Avery Rockefeller (1878-1934) and granddaughter of Standard Oil co-founder William Rockefeller (1841-1922). - Horace Hendrickson
Horace Hendrickson was a football coach at Elon, and NC State. From 1937 to 1941, he coached at Elon, where he compiled a 31-12-1 record. His best season came in 1941, when his team went 8-1. From 1952 to 1953, he coached at NC State, where he compiled a 4-16 record. He played college football at Duke.
- Robert Model
Robert Model (born 1942) is the son of Faith Rockefeller Model (1909-1960) and Belgian Jean Model. He is the great-grandson of Standard Oil co-founder William Rockefeller (1841-1922). Model was born in Greenwich, Connecticut. Model attended The Browning School and then graduated from Elon College in Elon, North Carolina in 1967. He is currently owner and President of Mooncrest Ranch in Cody, Wyoming and President of the Boone and Crockett Club.

Shirley Wilson was a college football coach at Duke, and Elon. From 1967 to 1976, he served as the head football coach at Elon. He compiled a 71-35-2(.667) record at Elon, and ranks 1st in school history in wins. In 3 out of his final four seasons at Elon, he won 10 or more games. At Duke, he compiled a 16-26-1 record.

PayPal has over twenty million customers in 38 countries, processes several billion dollars per year and went public on the NASDAQ under PYPL in early 2002. Mr. Musk was the largest shareholder of PayPal until the company was acquired by eBay for $1.5 billion in October 2002.

Elon James Gasper (born 1952) is a Senior VP at VizX Labs and co-founder of 1980's era software company Bright Star Technology. Described by Ken Williams as "a genius ex-college professor specializing in linguistics," Elon holds several patents relating to lip-sync technology. After Bright Star's 1992 acquisition by Sierra Entertainment, Elon was VP of Educational Games and the driving force behind many notable titles.

Molly McGinn (born August 27, 1974 in Dodge City, Kansas) is an Irish-American singer-songwriter. McGinn has been the lead singer of Thacker Dairy Road since 2006. She released her solo album, Girl with Slingshot, in early 2007. Her significance as an artist is represented in how she balances her drive to innovate children's education through music while focusing on her career as a signer-songwriter, producer and documentary filmmaker.

Ryan Notch (born July 7, 1979 in Houston, Texas) is an American photographer best known for his commercial and travel photography. Ryan Notch was cast in a children's variety show called "Kids Television" at the age of 14. At 17 he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his film and television career. He spent the next couple of years as an actor with small roles in several television shows and feature films including Charmed, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Thirteen Days.

Charles Bunn "Bunny" Hearn (born May 21, 1891 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina - died October 10, 1959 in Wilson, North Carolina) was a major league baseball pitcher, major league scout, and minor league, semi-pro and college level manager. Hearn attended Elon College and what is now Mississippi State University. His 109 strikeouts in 1910 was an Elon single season record that stood for sixty seven years.

Jamie Linck O'Brien (born April 9, 1988) is a beauty queen and actress from Owings Mills, Maryland who has competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant. O'Brien was crowned Miss Maryland Teen USA in 2006 held in late 2005. This was her second attempt at the title, as she had been a semi-finalist in the 2004 event. Thaddeus Armie (Thad) Eure (1899-1993) was a North Carolina political figure who holds the record for longest tenure as North Carolina Secretary of State (1936-1989). Prior to his service as secretary of state, Eure served as mayor of Winton, NC, and as a state legislator. In 1987, President Ronald Reagan recognized Eure as having held public office longer than any official in the nation at that time, with more than 64 years of continuous service.

Michael Skube is a Pulitzer Prize for Criticism winner. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University. In 1975 he started working freelance in journalism after working at the Customs Service. He began writing editorials for the Raleigh News & Observer in 1982 and became a book critic for the paper in 1986. He worked for that paper when he won the Pulitzer. After book criticism he went into teaching and joined Elon University in 2002.

James G. 'Jim' Exum, Jr. is an American jurist who served as an Associate Justice and Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. After earning his law degree at the New York University School of Law, Exum clerked for North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Emery B. Denny. He was briefly a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives before serving as a state Superior Court judge.
