Dave Winer , 39, has been a commercial software developer, marketer and software demoer since 1979. Winer pioneered the category of outline processing, shipping ThinkTank for the IBM PC, Apple II and Macintosh in 1983 and 1984; Ready for the IBM PC in 1985 and MORE for Macintosh in 1986. MORE won MacUser's first Product of the Year Eddy in 1986. He founded and was president of Living Videotext, Inc., which merged with Symantec in 1987.

- Bartholomew Steer
Bartholomew Steer ("bap." 1568 - 1597) was an unsuccessful rebellion leader in Oxfordshire, England. He was a carpenter, born in Hampton Poyle, Oxfordshire, brother to a weaver. In 1596, the area was suffering through famine and increasing poverty. The weavers and carders were severely affected by enclosure laws, and Steer, although he claimed upon his arrest that he was free and not in any want, lived in the midst of a great deal of suffering.

Sir John William Cradock-Hartopp, 4th Baronet (1829 - 25th May 1888) was the son of Sir William Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 3rd Baronet and Jane Mary Keane. He succeeded to the Baronetcy on the death of his father in 1864. In 1873 he acquired Kingswood Warren House and estate at Kingswood, Surrey which he extended and improved with the assistance of architect William Basset Smith. In 1881 he and his family were living there in some style with twelve servants.

- Hezqeyas Of Ethiopia
Hezqeyas or Hezekiah was "niguse negest" (26 July 1789 - January 1794) of Ethiopia, and a member of the Solomonic dynasty. He was the son of Iyasus III. Hezqeyas with his captains marched on Gondar against the reigning Emperor, Tekle Giyorgis, who himself was campaigning against several regions in revolt. When Tekle Giyorgis saw Hezqeyas' army, he turned and fled; Hezqeyas was then placed on the throne with the help of Ras Ali.

Iyasu II or Joshua II (Ge'ez ኢያሱ, born 21 October 1723) was "Emperor of Ethiopiathrone name Alem Sagad, Ge'ez ዓለም ሰገድ ʿAläm Sägäd, "to whom the world bows") (19 September 1730 - 27 June 1755) of Ethiopia, and a member of the Gondar branch of Solomonic dynasty. He was the son of Emperor Bakaffa and Empress Mentewab (also known by her Baptismal name of Welete Giyorgis).

Walter Chichele Plowden (1820 - 1860) was a British consul in Abyssinia. He became a friend of Ethiopian emperor Tewodros II. He was murdered during a journey between Gondar and the coast. He is buried in the Royal Enclosure of Gondar, next to Gemjabet Maryam church. His writings were published as "Travels in Abyssinia and the Galla Country, with an account of a mission to Ras Ali in 1848" by his brother in London in 1868.

Born in Petersfield, Hampshire, Piggott was educated at Churcher's College and on leaving school in 1927 took up a post as assistant at Reading Museum where he developed an expertise in Neolithic pottery.

Maud Edith Cunnington (24 September, 1869-28 February, 1951), was a Welsh-born archaeologist, most famous for her pioneering work on the prehistoric sites of Salisbury Plain. She was born at Briton Ferry in Glamorgan, one of seven children of Charles Pegge, a doctor. Maud was educated briefly at Cheltenham Ladies' College. In 1889, she married Ben Cunnington who was the honorary curator of Devizes Museum. Their only son, Edward, was killed in the First World War.

The son of Henry Cunnington, a wine merchant, Benjamin was a journalist before joining his father's business. He was also for sixty years also the unpaid honorary curator of Devizes Museum.
