Frederick Francis Houser (April 11, 1905 -)served as the Republican Lieutenant Governor of California under governor Earl Warren between 1943 and 1947. He had some attempts at running for other offices including 1932 for 12th district House of Representatives (ran against John Henry Hoeppeland but lost 43.2% to 45.8%) and in 1944 for the Senate losing to Sheridan Downey. Houser was also a Superior Court judge.
