- Cleve Moler
Cleve Barry Moler is a mathematician and computer programmer specializing in numerical analysis. In the mid to late 1970s, he was one of the authors of LINPACK and EISPACK, Fortran libraries for numerical computing. He invented MATLAB, a numerical computing package, to give his students at the University of New Mexico easy access to these libraries without writing Fortran. In 1984, he co-founded The MathWorks with Jack Little to commercialize this program.
- John W. Eaton
John W. Eaton is the initial and main author of Octave, a system for numerical computations with a language that is mostly compatible with MATLAB, but is available as a free software. In his professional life he works as a computer administrator for a chemical engineering group at the University of Wisconsin.
- Ken Kennedy
American computer scientist Ken Kennedy (August 12,1945 - February 7,2007) was a professor at Rice University, and the founding chairman of Rice's Computer Science Department. Kennedy directed the construction of several substantial software systems for programming parallel computers, including an automatic vectorizer for Fortran 77, an integrated scientific programming environment, compilers for Fortran 90 and High Performance Fortran, …
- Germund Dahlquist
Germund Dahlquist (January 16, 1925 Uppsala - February 8, 2005 Stockholm) was a Swedish mathematician known primarily for his early contributions to the theory of numerical analysis as applied to differential equations. Dahlquist began to study mathematics at Stockholm University in 1942 at the age of 17, where he cites the Danish mathematician Harald Bohr (who was living in exile after the occupation of Denmark during World War II) as a profound influence.
- Nicholas Higham
Nicholas J. Higham FRS (born Salford 25 December 1961) is a numerical analyst and Richardson Professor of Applied Mathematics at the School of Mathematics, University of Manchester. He is a graduate of the Victoria University of Manchester gaining his BA in 1982, MSc in and 1983 and PhD 1985. His PhD thesis was entitled "Nearness Problems in Numerical Linear Algebra" and his supervisor was George Hall. Higham is Director of Research within the School of Mathematics, …
- Stephen C. Johnson
Stephen Curtis Johnson spent nearly 20 years at Bell Labs and AT&T, where he wrote Yacc, Lint, and the Portable C Compiler. Steve earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics, but has spent his entire career in computing. He has worked on topics as diverse as computer music, psychometrics, and VLSI design, but he is best known for his work on Unix tools, and the first AT&T UNIX port. He also ran the UNIX System V language development department for several years in the mid-1980s.
- John N. Little
John N. (Jack) Little is the president and co-founder of The MathWorks, and co-author of the company's first product MATLAB, rewritten in C language from the original FORTRAN version by Cleve Moler. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, and a Trustee of the Massachusetts Software Council. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1978), and a Master's degree from Stanford University (1980).

- Loren Dean
Loren Dean is a senior engineering manager in the MATLAB development organization. He has responsibility for MathWorks distributed computing products as well as the Test & Measurement application area and the license management and installation group. Loren has been with The MathWorks since 1995. Prior to joining The MathWorks, Loren worked for AlliedSignal Aerospace performing systems analysis and integration for aircraft engines, and used MATLAB and Simulink extensively.
- Stuart McGarrity
Stuart McGarrity is MATLAB product manager and has been with The MathWorks since 1997. He has previously served as communications marketing manager and applications engineer. He received a BEng in 1988 and a Ph.D. in signal processing in 1993 from Strathclyde University in Glasgow. Stuart was born in Scotland.

- Bill Potter
Bill Potter is senior staff engineer for Honeywell with 27 years experience in aerospace systems development. Working in the Systems and Software Productivity Center, he is responsible for deployment of Model-Based Design processes at Honeywell. He has been using MATLAB and Simulink for 11 years and Real-Time Workshop for embedded target applications for 9 years.
- Uchenna Ahaghotu
Mr. Uchenna Ahaghotu is an Electrical Engineer IV at Avtec Systems. Mr. Ahaghotu's primary area of focus is the field of wireless communication. As a member of the Operational Performance Simulator (OPS) team, he worked on developing mathematical algorithms for the covariance section of OPS, to convert the TDOA and FDOA functions from non-vectorized to vectorized. This stemmed from his research in estimation theory and different aspects of electronic warfare.

Born in Japan, grew up half way in Japan, then grew up the rest of the way in Georgia, went back to Japan, came back to Georgia, then moved to Michigan, then to Boston. Loves ultimate frisbee. Loves MATLAB even more. If you must know more, put your mouse cursor here and left click.

Note: I don't really watch blues clues, much. Fact: I have been a Seattle Seahawks season ticket holder for 4 years, and have been a fan for at least 12. Therefore, I DID NOT JUST GET ON THE BANDWAGON! Random: I run fast, really fast. You know what? I searched for other friendsters with MATLAB as a hobby and got zero hits! I guess it isn't that popular in the online community (geez, what losers).

Nothing special bout me....sigh....I'm just me. Most people think I'm unapproachable or unfriendly but I'm actually just shy if I don't know you. Take a chance and say hello, as I am really a nice guy. The most important thing you should know is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my friends. After that, anything else in life is a cakewalk! *UK*Amsterdam*Paris*Istanbul*Jakarta*.
