  2. Jim Marshall

    Jim Marshall (born December 30, 1937 Danville, Kentucky) played college football at Ohio State University. He left school before his senior year, and played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was then drafted in the 4th round of the 1960 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns. Marshall played the 1960 season with the Browns. He played from 1961 to 1979 with the Minnesota Vikings.

As early as the age of ten he was able to build a device to convert punched paper tape into Morse code signals out of Erector Set components.

  11. Bert Shepard

    Robert Earl Shepard (born June 28, 1920 in Dana, Indiana) was a baseball pitcher who had his right leg amputated after his fighter plane crashed in Germany during World War II. He went on to pitch in one major league game for the Washington Senators in 1945. The 5"11", 185 lb. left-hander taught himself to walk and then to pitch with an artificial leg while confined in a German POW camp. In 1945 Shepard was back in the United States and wanted to resume his pitching career.
