Charles Isaac Hubbard, PC, CD, MP, BEd, MA (born October 29, 1940 in Newcastle, New Brunswick) is a Canadian politician. Hubbard is a current member of the Liberal Party of Canada in the Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of Miramichi, New Brunswick since 1993. Hubbard is a former school principal.

William Stewart Loggie (August 10, 1850 - March 13, 1944) was a merchant and politician of the town of Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada. A dynamic man, Loggie built a small empire throughout the Miramichi River area. He bought fish directly from the fishermen, and packed and exported it. As well he operated a large retail business, with hardware, clothing, footware and grocery stores in Chatham, and general stores in smaller communities in outlying villages.

He has was married twice: first, in 1869, to Miss Catherine L. Patterson, and second, on November 29, 1882, to Miss Nealis. He was called to the Bar of New Brunswick on October 14, 1868, and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in February, 1891.

- Joseph Leonard O'Brien
Joseph Leonard O'Brien (November 6, 1895 - June 18, 1973) was a Canadian politician. Born in South Nelson, New Brunswick, he was a member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1925 to 1930 and was Speaker of the Assembly. By profession he was a lumber merchant, operating a small sawmill in South Nelson. In 1940, he was elected to the Canadian House of Commons for the riding of Northumberland. A member of the National Government, he was defeated in 1945.

W.R. (Bud) Jardine was a Progressive Conservative party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was a naval officer by career. Jardine was elected at Northumberland—Miramichi electoral district in the 1984 federal election, thus he served in the 33rd Canadian Parliament. He was defeated in the 1988 federal election by Maurice A. Dionne of the Liberal party.

Arch C. Pafford is a politician in New Brunswick, Canada. In the 1988 federal election, he ran for office as a candidate of the Confederation of Regions Party of Canada (CoR). He placed third with 10.7% of the vote in the riding of Miramichi. CoR did surprisingly well in New Brunswick, with 4.3% of the popular vote, considering it was a Western Canada-based party whose national results were less than one half of one percent.

William Murray Caldwell (May 18 1832 - September 29 1870) was a New Brunswick businessman and political figure. He represented Restigouche in the Canadian House of Commons as a Liberal member from 1868 to 1870. He was born in Douglastown, New Brunswick (now part of Miramichi) in 1832, was educated at Campbellton and settled in Dalhousie. He was a justice in the Court of Common Pleas and served in the local militia.
