    Clarence "Fuzzy" Haskins (born June 8, 1941 in Elkhorn, West Virginia) is a former singer with 1950s and 1960s doo-wop group, The Parliaments. He is a founding member of the groundbreaking and influential 1970s funk bands Parliament and Funkadelic, later known just as Parliament-Funkadelic. He left Parliament-Funkadelic in the later half of the 1970s to pursue a solo career. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

    William "Billy Bass" Nelson (born 1951) is a U.S. musician, who was the original bassist for the P Funk band. Billy was born in Plainfield, New Jersey and worked at George Clinton's barbershop, sweeping the floor and singing and dancing for the customers. Clinton, Nelson and some friends soon formed a doo wop barbershop quintet called The Parliaments. Nelson joined late because was in jail in Brooklyn, New York for joyriding.

    Donnie Sterling is a musician brought in by Parlet's Mallia Franklin in 1978 as Parlet's band leader and bass player. After writing three songs on Parlet's second album, "Invasion Of The Booty Snatchers", Sterling and Franklin both left Parlet in 1979. Sterling became P Funk writer for producers George Clinton and Ron Dunbar. Sterling and Franklin attempted to form a P Funk offspring group Sterling Silver Starship in 1979. An album was recorded, but never released.
