Annie Oakley b. Phoebe Ann Mosey was an American sharpshooter and exhibition shooter. Oakley's amazing talent and luck led to a starring role in "Buffalo Bill's Wild West" show, which propelled her to become the first American female superstar. Using a .22 caliber rifle at 90 feet (27 m), Oakley could split a playing card edge-on and put five or six more holes in it before it touched the ground.

John Bryant Paine (April 8, 1870 - August 2, 1951) was an American shooter. He competed at the 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens. Paine entered all three of the pistol events at the 1896 Games, but actually competed in only one. He, along with his brother Sumner Paine, was disqualified from the rapid fire pistol event for not having the appropriate caliber pistol.

Franklin Buchanan (September 13, 1800-May 11, 1874) was an officer in the United States Navy who became an admiral in the Confederate Navy during the American Civil War, and commanded the ironclad CSS Virginia. Hey, what's Up? I'm Kevin. I'm 14 and a freshman at Silver Creek High School. I live in Colorado where I go skiing, hiking, and shooting as much as I can. (I'm an NRA certified BAR 5 sharpshooter.) I also do a lot of stuff with the local fire departments. From going on calls, to training (right now I'm working on EMS training), to sitting around and playing video games. It's alot of fun.
