On March 29 2005, he announced he would work full-time on the del.icio.us project. Joshua's popular del.icio.us website helped to popularize the use of tags on the web, particularly within the blogging community. On December 9 2005, del.icio.us was acquired by Yahoo!, Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
