He is named Toro because the hanyu pinyin of his chinese name "Wei Yun" sounds like "Wei Yu" 鮪魚, which is Toro in Japanese.

Jean-Jacques Goldman is a French singer and songwriter. He is hugely popular in the French-speaking world, and in 2003 was the second-highest-grossing French pop singer, after Johnny Hallyday. Born in Paris to immigrant Polish Jewish parents, Alter Mojze Goldman and Ruth Ambrunn. Goldman was the third of four children and first learned the violin, and then the piano as a child. In 1968, he abandoned his classical music studies for the guitar.

- Hōjō Tokimune
Hōjō Tokimune was the eighth "shikken" (regent) of the Kamakura shogunate (reigned 1268 - 84), best known for leading the Japanese forces against the invasion of the Mongols. Born as the eldest son of the regent Tokiyori, Tokimune became a "shikken" at age 18. It is due to him that Zen Buddhism became firmly established in Kamakura, then later in Kyoto, and in the whole of Japan, especially among the warrior class.

Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir John Grandy GCB GCVO KBE DSO KStJ RAF (8 December 1913-2 January 2004) was a senior officer in the Royal Air Force. In the summer of 1940, Grandy led 249 Squadron during the Battle of Britain.
