- Mack Brown
William Mack Brown (born August 27, 1951) is head coach of the University of Texas Longhorn football team. During the 2005 season, Coach Brown led the Longhorns to a Rose Bowl victory and a National Championship. With the 2006 season, Brown led his team to win 10 games or more for six straight years, which is the best current ten-win streak in the NCAA. Prior to coaching at Texas, Brown coached at Appalachian State, Tulane, and North Carolina.

This game would prove very significant to the Broncos' hopes of "busting" the BCS; their 42-14 victory over Oregon State increased their credibility after the Beavers stunned then-#3 USC on October 28, 2006.

He has played Running Back/Tailback, Wide Receiver, Kick Returner and Punt Returner. On December 8, 2005, Bush was awarded the Walter Camp Award and the Doak Walker Award. On December 10, Bush won the Heisman Trophy, beating finalists Vince Young and former Heisman winner and teammate Matt Leinart.

He currently lives in Palo Alto.
